I have visited the hobbit village 3 times now and it was awesome. First time was after the lord of the rings films and it had reverted back to farmland with just husks of hobbit holes and sheep milling around the land. Such a blessing to have the hobbit movies made and the shire back in all its glory permanently.

A Morgul blade for whoever had the idea of having ads interrupting this masterpiece

Rivendell is what I hope the afterlife is. Lotr and its music is the one thing that inspires me to draw, paint, calms me down when I'm angry, grounds me when I'm emotional. Thank you Tolkien, Peter Jackson, Howard shore, and everyone else involved in making middle earth a reality for us

The first book I read related to middle-earth wasn't Hobbit or the Trilogy...it was paperback satire novel "Bored of the Rings" and it made absolutely no sense with zero knowledge of Tolkien's books. I was tricked into it and you know, Tommy LaqCour, I thank you for it.
